Weigh the parcel to determine the chargeable weight in pounds (round
up to the next higher number if at or above the 1/2 pound mark).
Multiply the chargeable weight times the appropriate price per pound.
"Chargeable
weight" is determined by regular pounds or volumetric pounds,
which is greater. If your parcel is large and lightweight, the shipping
cost may be determined by volumetric pounds. To determine the volumetric
pounds of your parcel, use the following formula: Multiply the length
of the parce times the height times the width (in inches). Multiply
this figure times .0054 to obtain the volumetric pounds.
Lenght
x Width x Height x .0054 = Volumetric Pounds |
